Once back in the States, it did not take long for me to get excited about another adventure, even if this one was not quite as, well, adventurous.  I had been back from South America for over a month, and it was time to hit the road again in my van.  Before I had shipped my van to South America during the late summer of 2016, I had originally planned on a shake-down trip, just me and my van, our first days and nights together.  The plan was to head out west, do the national park tour, visit a number of iconic, and less visited, national parks, and national forest, primarily focused on locations in the inter-mountain west, from New Mexico and Arizona, to Montana.  So, in early summer of 2017, I was off, we were off, heading west.  After four months together in South America, we, my van and I, were ready to hit the road, another adventure awaited.  We were excited, a Western Adventure began.
